Intro to Basic Motor Controls  |  12 Hour Class/12 CEUs- Brad Meglic 
From switches to complex PLCs, control systems are everywhere. In this introductory course on motor controls, students will develop a very basic understanding of the evolution and variety of uses in motor control. Students will learn the differences between IEC and NEMA, schematic and wiring diagrams, and the fundamentals of the holding circuit. Reading and drawing ladder diagrams will also be introduced.

CE Intro to the Trade  |  12 Hour Class/ 12 CEUs- Adam Dolgner/Jason Murray
If you’re new to the electrical industry, unfamiliar with some of the specialty tools and materials and want or need to get more familiar with our ways, this class will help. From residential to commercial to industrial jobsites there are so many different aspects to the electrical field that you will spend your career learning new things. Get started right!

AC Math Essentials  |  6 Hour Class/ 0 CEUs- Jason Trumpy 
This course is designed to help apprentices with the math that will be used in the first-year electrical apprenticeship courses including AC Theory. This course will be a refresher on basic math, proper formula building, and how to solve these formulas. The course will be six hours long over two nights and only offered as unpaid related instruction for apprenticeship.

Transition to Trainer  |  8 Hour Class/ 0 CEUs- Katie Hunt
Transition-To-Trainer - This class is for 4th and 5th year apprentices who will, as journey workers, soon be responsible for passing on their skills to new apprentices.  Developed by the Bureau of Apprenticeship Standards, this 8-hour course teaches soon-to-be journey workers how to serve as a mentor and job coach, how to provide hands-on skill training, how to give positive and effective performance feedback, and explores the characteristics of a positive and diverse work environment. First Aid/CPR  | 8 Hour/ 0 CEUs- Jeff Toberman 
AHA First Aid/CPR - Safety on the job and in everyday life is important. The ability to react calmly and perform lifesaving measures in an emergency situation is critical to how well or how bad the outcome might be. This course will give students the knowledge and proper technique in rendering assistance when it’s needed most. This course issues a two-year First Aid/CPR e-card. 
February 7th-8th, 2023- Tuesday-Wednesday Night from 5-9pm

Conduit Bending for Beginners |  12 Hour Class/12 CEUs- John Bennett/Katie Hunt

This course will introduce students to the different types of conduit and the mathematics involved in bending. The majority of this class will be spent in a laboratory setting with hands-on exposure making different types of bends in ½” conduit geared towards the beginner. 
February 14th- March 7th, 2023- Tuesday Nights from 5-8pm

Grounding and Bonding part 1  |  15 Hour Class/15 CEUs- Tony Dubanowich

Grounding is an important aspect of the electrical industry and safety. There are many ways to achieve the performance requirements of the NEC. Article 250 is the longest article in the code at 29 pages of detailed information. This Part I of a 2-part course, studies the purpose of Grounded and Ungrounded systems, Service grounding & Bonding, Grounding Electrodes, Grounding Electrode Conductor sizing and the performance and prescriptive aspects of Article 250 Parts I – V. ALL CLASSES MUST BE ATTENDED FOR CREDENTIALING CREDIT.
February 15th- March 15th, 2023- Wednesday Nights from 5-8pm---FULL

OSHA 30  | 30 Hour/ 2 CEUs- Jeff Toberman 

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 29 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 1926 are requirement standards for The Construction Industry. In today’s fast paced and safety conscious world, OSHA training has become a staple for the ability to work at most job sites. From PPE to Fall Protection or working with ladders and scaffolding, the workplace conditions are safer today because of OSHA and OSHA trained personnel.

Electrical Vehicle Charging Certification  |  21 Hour Class/18 CEUs- Jeremy Crabb
This course is designed to build a basic knowledge of how Electric Vehicle Charging Systems are to be safely installed onto today’s electrical installations both in new construction and when added to current installations following the NEC and SPS-316. The course provides an introduction of charging products and associated equipment on the market today. Electrical workers completing this training will have an ability to implement best practices in such areas as charging station equipment, infrastructure, site assessment, load calculation, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting. This course will be 7 three-hour classes. After completing both the in-class and on-line homework students will be able to take the Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Training Program (EVITP) Certificate Exam.
March 9th- April 27th, 2023- Thursday Nights from 5:30-8:30pm (NO CLASS 4/2/23-Union meeting)

Intro to Foreman Training  |  9 Hour Class/0 CEUs- Craig Ibeling

This class will help develop current Journeymen and Apprentices into future foreman for the electrical construction industry. Participants will learn about the role the Foremen plays on a project, the relationship between the contractor and the IBEW and the different management techniques used to run a project. 
March 21st- April 4th, 2023- Tuesday Nights from 5-8pm
